VPR’s Lala Kent Will Remain ‘Cordial’ With Jax Taylor For Brittany Cartwright’s Sake

Vanderpump Rules star, Lala Kent, has vowed to be ‘cordial’ to Jax Taylor for the sake of her close friend, Brittany Cartwright.

Status update:

In an interview with US Weekly, Lala dished on her friendship status with the former VPR stars.

“I’m cordial with him [Jax] because Brittany is one of my best friends.”

Jax isn’t the only former SUR employee that isn’t on good terms with Ocean‘s mom.

“It would be the same type of situation if Katie [Maloney] and Tom [Schwartz] were still married. I would have to maneuver those waters in the same way I have to maneuver them with Jax and Brittany.”

The CEO of Give Them Lala explained how real-life friendships can be affected by on-screen drama.

“I hate that. I’m like, ‘Why can’t we just have normal lives?’”

Clearly, Lala understands the assignment as she answered her own question.

“It’s like, ‘Bitch because if you were a normal person that didn’t hold onto petty sh*t [then] you wouldn’t have a TV show!’”
