Jax Taylor wants Brittany Cartwright to cough up some cash amid their ongoing divorce.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the former Vanderpump Rules star is requesting $17,000 a month in spousal support from his estranged wife, along with $250,000 to cover his legal fees and an additional $10,000 for a forensic accountant.
In the filing, Jax claims he’s currently unemployed and has no regular income.
He also alleges Brittany orchestrated a targeted campaign to paint him as an “abuser,” which he believes has negatively impacted his career.
From Jax’s perspective, the allegations have cost him potential paychecks, including an opportunity with Special Forces.
He also claims Carpe Deodorant declined to renew its partnership with him, among other professional setbacks.
However, Jax acknowledges earning an average of $30,334 per month over the last 12 months, while estimating his monthly expenses at $28,944.
Meanwhile, he claims Brittany’s company generated $632,775 in gross income between Jan. 1 and May 31.
As for his own finances, Jax reports having $464,671 across various bank accounts and an additional $193,471 in other property.
However, the financial requests aren’t the only issues Jax wants the court to address.
The reality star is also asking a judge to remove Brittany’s tie-breaking authority over medical decisions involving their son, Cruz.
Jax cites “newfound knowledge” of alleged neglect and unreasonable delays regarding Cruz’s medical care and school enrollment as reasons for the request.
A hearing is scheduled for Dec. 30 to address the pending requests.
ICYMI: Brittany filed for divorce from Jax in August 2024. Most recently, Jax asked the court in October to declare him legally single as their divorce proceedings continue.
