Southern Hospitality star Joe Bradley is turning the page on his career in Charleston!
Joe opened up about his transition from working at Leva Bonaparte‘s Republic Garden & Lounge to his new position at Share House during the DIRECTV Unscripted event hosted by Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Bronwyn Newport.
When asked to share his biggest Taste and Waste from the past season, Joe revealed that taking a chance on himself was a major turning point.
“The biggest taste for me last season was taking a leap of faith and realizing I can throw a badass party on my own,” Joe shared. “So I think that really gave me the courage for my emo night. Like, I love rock-and-roll, hosting emo night in Charleston — turning 30, that’s my taste.”
However, Joe wasn’t quite as complimentary when reflecting on his previous work situation.
“My waste was me wasting too much time at my job working for people who didn’t believe in me. That was a waste. Waste of time!” he declared.
Although Joe didn’t name drop, it was evident Joe was frustrated with Leva and Republic. Fans of SoHo saw Joe try to grow with Leva’s restaurant group from lead VIP host to a new position. Unfortunately for Republic, Joe took his talent and passion for hospitality to Uptown Hospitality Group.
ICYMI, Joe announced he was leaving Leva’s Republic in July for Share House, which is his home base. “This is a huge step in my career and an opportunity I’ve been working toward for a long time.”
“I’m incredibly excited to continue growing in hospitality, take on more responsibility, and keep learning from an amazing team as I work toward my goal of opening venues of my own.”
