The sexual battery lawsuit filed against Bravo, NBCUniversal, and Below Deck Sailing Yacht star Gary King has reached a conditional settlement.
According to TMZ, makeup artist Samantha Suarez’s legal team filed new documents in the case stating that the parties have agreed to a settlement.
In other words, the lawsuit will be dismissed as long as certain conditions are met.
Per the documents, the settling parties have 45 days to complete those conditions, with a request to dismiss the case expected to be filed no later than Jan. 15, 2027.
ICYMI: Samantha previously accused Gary of pressuring her to sleep with him while working on Below Deck Sailing Yacht. She alleged that at one point, Gary drunkenly grabbed and restrained her while holding a door shut.
Samantha claimed Gary eventually released her and allowed her to leave the room after she received a phone call.
She also alleged that she and her boyfriend, Grey Duddleston, were fired after reporting the alleged incident and subsequently placed on a “do not hire” list.
Samantha’s lawsuit included claims of sexual battery, a hostile work environment, retaliation, and wrongful termination.
Now, it appears the legal battle is nearing its end, pending completion of the settlement conditions.
