Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills personality Teddi Mellencamp expressed that Real Housewives of Orange County is more authentic to her vibe.
While appearing on The Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg Show, Teddi discussed the differences between RHOBH and RHOC. Teddi is close friends with RHOC star Tamra Judge, whom she also co-hosts the Two T’s in a Pod podcast with, giving her an authentic connection to an existing cast member.
Teddi explained that she no longer wants to feel pressured to become someone she isn’t, like she did on RHOBH. “I don’t have the most money out of everybody. I don’t want to get glammed every single day of my life.” Teddi declared, “I want to just live my life.”
According to Teddi, RHOC has a more relaxed approach to appearances. She suggested that the Beverly Hills ladies face greater expectations when it comes to designer accessories and looking camera-ready. “I feel on Orange County, they’re a touch more casual about that,” which is more true to Teddi.
“It’s a big deal if you have a nice purse,” explained Teddi. “It’s a big deal to have your glam to work out. Like, you better show up. There better be false lashes on.”
Teddi has battled cancer since her time on RHOBH, split from her husband, been caught with a married man, gotten cosmetic surgery, and more …. so there is a lot more story for Teddi to tell.
