Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Bronwyn Newport opened up about the support she received from Whitney Rose and Mary Cosby during her separation from Todd Bradley.
At Bravo Fan Fest, Bronwyn reflected on navigating a difficult personal chapter while filming the Bravo series and teased what viewers can expect at the reunion.
Bronwyn credited two of her RHOSLC co-stars with helping her through the emotional fallout of her separation from Todd. After the news broke just before the holidays, Whitney and Mary stepped up to support her.
“It was so nice to have Whitney. She was always trying to be there for me,” Bronwyn shared. “Initially, when Todd and I were separating, Mary was checking on me every day. Mary and Whitney got me through.”
Bronwyn also expressed sympathy for Whitney and Angie Katsanevas as they navigate their own relationship struggles. “When I heard about Angie and Whitney’s splits, I wanted to do as much as I can,” she explained. “It’s brutal to live those things, and it’s brutal to watch them back.”
Beyond her personal life, Bronwyn admitted that watching Season 6 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City back has been an eye-opening experience.
“It’s always different to film it and to watch it back,” she said, explaining that she has worked with women who wait until she leaves the room to share their true feelings about her.
“So watching it back this season has been really enlightening. There were things I didn’t know. It was really intense when I was living it.”
Bronwyn also revealed that she didn’t realize she was in the season’s “hot seat” until her castmates discussed it in an interview.
“I didn’t know I was in the ‘hot seat’ until the cast did an interview and said I was in the hot seat,” she recalled. “So, see you at the reunion, ladies.”
And if anyone thinks Bronwyn is afraid of a confrontation, she made her position clear. “I don’t wait for them to be out of the room [to talk about them]. I’d prefer they come in. So if they’re here, bring ’em out.”
