Southern Charm star Craig Conover is trading reality TV drama for a soapy scripted romance!
Craig is stepping into a new role as the lead of Bravo’s first-ever scripted microdrama, Charmed by a Southern Monster.
Announced at Bravo Fan Fest, the vertical, short-form series is set to premiere Monday, November 9, 2026, and will stream exclusively on the Peacock mobile app.
Craig will star opposite actress Nicole Mattox in the new series, which combines romance, corporate rivalries, and small-town mystery. While Bravo fans are accustomed to watching Craig navigate his personal life on camera, this time, he’ll be playing a fictional character with a mysterious past.
The series follows Maeve Marchant (Nicole Mattox), a brilliant corporate fixer tasked with convincing Hunter Caldwell (Craig Conover) to sell his family’s estate. Her strategy? Seduce the reclusive man, who has earned a reputation as a suspected murderer.
However, Maeve soon discovers that Hunter isn’t the monster the town makes him out to be. As their relationship develops, he becomes the only person who can protect her from a dangerous ex-boyfriend.
Meanwhile, a billion-dollar development deal threatens to unravel everything, setting the stage for plenty of romance, suspense, and twists.
Your friends here at Taste of Reality were at Bravo Fan Fest for the reveal of Charmed by a Southern Monster. The preview was met with mixed reviews. While many were impressed with Craig’s physique, the audience was left confused after watching the preview. The woman behind me asked, “Is this satire?”
Charmed by a Southern Monster premieres on Monday, Nov. 9.
