Amanda Batula has exited the building!
The Summer House star addressed the recent rumors surrounding her exit from the spinoff, with fans wondering whether it was her choice or Bravo’s.
According to Amanda, the online hate made the decision for her.
Content creator Your Moms Are Watching shared a screenshot of a message she received from Amanda about her decision not to film In the City Season 2.
“The continued hate from fan accounts and the internet is a huge reason why I decided I wasn’t ready to film again and put myself back out there,” Amanda’s response read.
“The bullying has been to intense who would want to put their life out there for other’s entertainment when they’re constantly ripped apart and beaten down for every single thing they do.”
Prior to Amanda sharing her POV, rumors claimed she was set to film a few scenes, presumably alongside Kyle Cooke.
It was also alleged that Amanda was adamant about West Wilson filming Season 2 and that the network denied her request.
However, Amanda is maintaining that her decision to step away was rooted in the intense online blowback she’s received.

While the network has yet to announce the official Season 2 cast, Danielle Olivera and her boyfriend, Eoin Heavey, as well as Andrea Denver and his wife, Lexi, are reportedly not set to return.
