What to expect:
“There’s Always a Rat” is the second episode of the debut season of Hulu’s reality competition series The Mob, hosted by Parker Posey.
In this episode, the celebrity “Family” takes on a physical Wine Bottling Job while paranoia and secret plotting test the power of the reigning Don, Joe Gorga.
In case you missed it:
Episode 1 of Hulu’s reality competition series The Mob (titled “Kiss the Ring”) introduces the celebrity and influencer cast as they arrive in Chianti, Italy, to play a mob-themed game of social manipulation and strategy hosted by Parker Posey.
The contestants arrive in Italy and are immediately thrown into a high-stakes team challenge. A team led by Joe Gorga (The Real Housewives of New Jersey) wins the initial challenge.
As a reward for winning, Joe Gorga becomes the show’s first “Don”—giving him the power to control money, form groups, and ultimately decide who gets eliminated.
Demi Engemann (The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives) shows a willingness to turn on her team leader, Harry Jowsey, earning secret cash from Joe Gorga. Joe also rewards Debi Mazar (Younger) and Willam Belli for prioritizing “family” loyalty.
When it comes time to eliminate someone, Joe Gorga has to choose between Bella Palk (Love Overboard), whom he considers the weakest link on his team, and Harry Jowsey, who failed to lead his group to a win. Joe chooses to “whack” Bella Palk, making her the first contestant voted/eliminated off the show.
