Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ Kathy Hilton is giving the show’s newbies Leah Remini and Tracy Tutor their flowers — but admits their arrival has left the longtime cast members a little shaken up.
Kathy was impressed by how Leah and Tracy have handled joining the popular Bravo franchise.
“First, with the new girls. I have to tell you, I admire them,” Kathy told Us Weekly. “They came in strong.”
“They’re not intimidated by these girls that have been there for years.” Kathy “loves” the new additions and believes the rest of the cast feels similarly. Kathy suggested Leah and Tracy’s confidence may have caught some of the veterans off guard. “I think they’re a little shocked.”
“Let’s just put it this way. Every single person’s feathers are ruffled [and] tied,” she added.
Kathy compared joining the cast to entering a charity group. Nobody necessarily welcomes a newcomer who immediately starts trying to change things.
“If you just come into the charity group and you’re starting to raise your hand at meetings and trying to fix something that’s not broken, people are not going to like you,” she explained to those not in the charity scene.
