Jenni “JWoww” Farley is not holding back after watching a heated Real Housewives of Salt Lake City exchange that she believes crossed a major line.
The Jersey Shore star became emotional while reacting to a scene from RHOSLC featuring Angie Katsanevas and Mary Cosby. During their heated confrontation, Angie brought up Mary’s late son, Robert Cosby Jr., who died in February at age 23.
“I’m trying so hard not to cry,” Jenni said in an Instagram video as she struggled to process what she had just watched. “What I just saw had to be the worst thing I have ever seen on reality TV. Regardless of what you think of anyone, that woman lost her child.”
JWoww didn’t mince words when describing the moment, calling the decision to bring up someone’s deceased child during an argument “f*cking bottom of the barrel” and “the most low blow.”
“Britani [Bateman] the last episode, now Angie, this episode…”
Unlike RHOSLC, Jenni said there was ultimately a line they wouldn’t cross when it came to one another’s families. “This is why I believe Jersey Shore, at the end of the day, didn’t rate the way that Bravo rates, and I understand it. Drama sells, but one thing I know about my cast, regardless of how much production hated it, we protected each other.”
“We had our low blows, especially before children. We had our low blows, [but] I have seen twice now, women attack a woman that lost her child.”
In her Instagram caption, JWoww doubled down on her support for Mary. “Crucify me in the comments as you will, but I just started really getting into watching reality TV because it’s been my career and I’m always curious how other networks film. But after watching this scene on #rhoslc my heart is broken for Mary.”
“I don’t care what your opinion is. A child’s death is off the table,” she declared.
“People really need to watch their words,” she wrote, adding that she was speaking as someone who has learned plenty of difficult lessons while living her life on television.
