Real Housewives of Salt Lake City‘s Jen Shah will be released from prison in late 2026 for orchestrating a telemarketing scheme that targeted sick people and senior citizens.
This marks the third time that Shah’s sentence has been reduced after initially being sentenced to 6.5 years in prison.
Counting down from the clink:
Deadline tapped into the Federal Bureau of Prisons inmates database and learned Jen Shah is set to be released on November 3, 2026.
The former RHOSLC personality is currently serving time at Bryan Federal Prison Camp in Texas. She was arrested in March 2021 for her role in a telemarketing fraud scheme. Jen surrendered herself on February 17, 2023.
Jen confessed to committing “wire fraud [and] offering services with little to no value,” when under oath with Judge Stein in July 2022.“We used interstate telephones and emails. I knew many of the purchasers were over the age of 55.”
Never forget, Jen claimed she was not guilty for many many months. She only changed her plea after her ‘first assistant,’ Stuart Smith, confessed his guilt. People reported StuChainz‘s admission. “I knowingly and intentionally discussed and engaged with other individuals to develop a plan or operation to obtain money by false representation by offering and inducing individuals, many of whom were over 50 years of age or older, to provide money to entities that I and others were involved with.”
Jailbird Jen has thrived in prison:
Jen Shah may have replaced socializing at bars with life behind bars, but that won’t stop the Bryan Federal Prison convict from seeking the spotlight.
Chris Giovanni, Jen’s manager, told TMZ the fraudster is developing a stage play called The Real Housewives of Bryan. Jen’s fellow inmates comprise the cast. According to Chris, the production is still in its early phases. “Jen’s taking time to teach some of her crew how to read and write.”
The Real Housewives of Bryan script “revolves around the real-life housewives residing at FPC Bryan. But, the personalities are cranked up to 11.” Sounds like a real-life Orange Is the New Black.
