Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Brandi Glanville is facing months of medical treatment and surgeries as she continues to deal with a series of health issues.
Gina Rodriguez, a friend of Brandi’s, launched a GoFundMe Tuesday to help the reality star cover the mounting costs of her medical care.
The fundraiser comes after Brandi recently shared an up-close look at a large growth on the side of her face. According to the GoFundMe, doctors identified what was described as a “fungal ball” that needs to be removed.
Gina claims Brandi will need daily IV medication for the next four to six months, along with multiple procedures and surgeries. The fundraiser also says Brandi will need to have her breast implants removed.
“Brandi is exhausted, in pain and trying to mentally prepare herself for months more of treatment and surgeries,” Gina wrote, adding that the financial burden has become “overwhelming.”
According to the fundraiser, Brandi is currently only able to work enough to record her podcast, limiting her ability to earn income while undergoing treatment.
The GoFundMe says Brandi is dealing with highly resistant ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm, coccidioidomycosis (Valley Fever), Demodex dermatitis, and mononucleosis. Gina says Brandi’s medical treatment is costing between $3,300 and $6,000 per month, even with insurance.
Funds raised will reportedly go toward Brandi’s IV treatments, medications, medical and specialist expenses, upcoming surgeries and procedures, dental treatment, insurance costs, and basic living expenses.
Brandi has previously been open about her ongoing health struggles, including the impact they have had on her career and quality of life, including dating.
