Karen Huger cleared up the narrative regarding whether or not she texted Shannon Beador after her DUI. Both Bravo TV stars were arrested for drinking and driving within the last 13 months.
For context:
The Real Housewives of Orange County star was a guest on Watch What Happens Live and answered Andy Cohen’s question, “Have you spoken to Karen Huger since her DUI?”
While Shannon didn’t answer the question, she did explain, “I just read that she said she reached out to me after my DUI. I don’t have that.” She did, however, receive a message from the Real Housewives of Potomac star’s DUI. “It said, ‘I’m good. Are you?’ I thought, ‘This is a fake.'”
Shannon even mentioned the text “to a few cast mates. ‘Do you think this is real?'”
At the end of the day, Shannon wanted to make sure she was still on good terms with The Grande Dame of Potomac. “I apologize; I love Karen. We did Project Runway together.”
Karen entered the chat:
“The answer is yes. I texted Shannon” after her DUI. “She did not reply. The end of story.”
“We did not break bread, we did not have a sleepover. It was a text checking on someone who I was genuinely concerned about. Anything otherwise implied is truly ridiculous and sad.”

During season 19 of Project Runway in 2022, the designers were tasked with creating a reunion look for several Housewives from across the franchise. From the Real Housewives of New York City, both Luann de Lesseps and Leah McSweeney walked the runway as part of the challenge.
In addition to Karen, RHOP‘s Gizelle Bryant and Dr. Wendy Osefo were also part of the competition. Shannon’s RHOC co-star and amiga, Gina Kirschenheiter was the final Real Housewife to participate in the challenge.
