Karen Huger Was Arrested And Charged With DUI After Crashing Maserati

Real Housewives of Potomac‘s Karen Huger was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence. 

TMZ reported, Karen “was driving her 2017 Maserati late Tuesday night in Potomac, Maryland in what police described as an aggressive manner.”

The scene of the crime:

After Karen’s DUI arrest, cops told the news outlet the Real Housewife “struck a median and crosswalk sign at an intersection before continuing on and colliding with a parking sign off the roadway. The car itself was badly damaged, but Karen told us she was doing fine after the accident … which she chalked up to driving while in a super emotional state.” Karen explained she “went to dinner with a friend where she said the two talked about some pretty emotional topics — including KH’s deceased mother — saying it left her bawling while trying to drive home and she says she swerved to avoid a car coming directly at her.”
The RHOP star “did note she received citations, one of which she says was not related to the incident … but, made no mention of being intoxicated or arrested in her statement to us.”

Karen DUI arrest detailed:

  1. Driving vehicle while under the influence of alcohol
  2. Driving vehicle while impaired by alcohol
  3. Negligent driving vehicle in careless and imprudent manner endangering property, life and person
  4. Failure to control speed on highway to avoid collision
  5. Driving vehicle in excess of reasonable and prudent speed on highway
  6. Driving vehicle on highway with suspended registration
  7. Failure of licensee to notify administration of change of address within 30 days

“The fines associated with the above-mentioned charges range from $50 to $510 and will require court appearances,” according to Page Six.
