Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney‘s highly anticipated Something About Her sandwich shop has officially set an opening date. Unfortunately for the entrepreneurs, they have been paying almost $10K a month to secure the space for the last couple of years; however, the hype is real and the Bravolebrities are opening their doors at an ideal time!
According to reports from The Sun, The long-awaited establishment from the Vanderpump Rules ladies is slated to have a grand opening celebration on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, after years of ongoing issues with the City of West Hollywood in attempting to get permits.
“The café will have soft openings leading up to May 22. After the grand opening, Something About Her will host a “big WeHo Pride party,” continued the insider. It “will take place during WeHo Pride Weekend Friday, May 31 through Sunday, June 2.”

The VPR personalities filed an LLC in 2021 to secure the name of the sandwich shop. “The inside of the shop is ready to go. Everything is still in place as it has been teased on the show,” the source spilled. “There is still no storefront sign and the patio has not been rebuilt since it was taken down. As of January 3, 2024,” the Pump Rules stars submitted an application “for a new 20 square feet outdoor dining area in the front of the North Robertson Boulevard restaurant. The application indicated that the owners would be adding a new awning and signage for Something About Her.”
A source has shared “The shop is going to add tables to the side alleyway and a custom bench right in front of the store. In a photo taken on April 23, 2024, there are currently three outdoor chairs with blue and white patterned cushions.” It’s currently serving as a ‘waiting area’ for potential workers as they wait to be interviewed.”
Additionally, the Bravo TV beauties “are interviewing people for various positions at the moment,” the source added. “Ariana and Katie conducted interviews for positions back when the show was filming in the summer of 2023.”
