Lisa Barlow is turning her Real Housewives of Salt Lake City lip liner obsession into a major beauty moment!
The Hypocrisy and Bullsh*t singer has teamed up with MAC Cosmetics for a glamorous collaboration inspired by her now-iconic catchphrase and signature makeup look. The partnership includes a cover feature in the brand’s MACzine and two curated lip product bundles featuring some of Lisa’s favorite MAC products.
“Being on the cover of MACzine is like nothing out of my wildest dreams,” Lisa said in her interview with the magazine.
The Glam Kitten revealed that her love affair with MAC dates back to the 1990s, long before concierge glam became the norm. “Back before the age of concierge glam, if you wanted the best makeup, you knew you were going to the MAC counter.”
Lisa also recalled walking “block upon block” to get her hands on MAC’s first collaboration with RuPaul. Now, she says, partnering with the cosmetics giant feels “surreal” and “kinda kismet.”
Lisa is launching two lip combinations: Baby Gorgeous Lip, featuring Dervish Lip Pencil and HoneyLove Silky Matte Lipstick, and I Do Big Things Lip, pairing Whirl Lip Pencil with Velvet Teddy Lipstick.
And Lisa has a very specific reason for offering lip liner and lipstick combinations rather than individual products. “People grossly underestimate the importance of a killer lip line, you have to use a combo,” she explained.
Lisa’s MAC collab is particularly fitting considering her fellow Housewives have repeatedly called attention to her frequent lip liner touch-ups during tense group dinners. Angie Katsanevas has even questioned whether Lisa uses her beauty routine to deflect from uncomfortable conversations.
