More legal woes for Simon Guobadia.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the ex-husband of RHOA’s Porsha Williams was indicted Tuesday in federal court in Georgia on two counts of assisting in the preparation and filing of a false federal tax return.
Prosecutors claim Simon filed paperwork in March 2021 reporting $0 in taxable income despite allegedly knowing he had earned more than what was reported.
The feds also allege he underreported sales for his company, Simcol Petroleum Limited, which listed more than $45 million in gross sales on the paperwork.
Prosecutors claim it happened again just three months later in July, when Simon allegedly reported just $58,231 in taxable income while his company listed nearly $31 million in gross sales.
According to prosecutors, Simon allegedly knew both his taxable income and the company’s gross sales were higher than what was reported.
Court records also show an arrest warrant was issued for the Nigeria native, though it’s unclear whether he has been taken into custody.
ICYMI: Porsha and Simon tied the knot in November 2022, but their marriage lasted just 15 months before Porsha filed for divorce in February 2024.
Simon was also deported from the U.S. in 2025 amid his immigration issues.
