Zack Wickham rides for Brittany Cartwright … and we love to see it. After he, Nia Sanchez, and Kristen Doute upgraded the name of Jax’s Studio City to Britt’s, Zack defended their decision to support their friend while her estranged husband, Jax Taylor, is in an in-patient treatment center.
Armchair expert:
The Valley star took to his Instagram story to respond to a social media user who clapped back at Brittany for the Britt’s Studio City joke. “Two wrongs don’t make a right.”
They continued, “Your family and child are more important than this. Your son’s dad needs your support, whether it’s as a wife or simply a co-parent.” Unfortunately for Britt, I don’t think co-parenting with Jax will ever be ‘simple,’ but I digress…
Zack entered the chat:
The Valley star responded to the criticism to make sure he got the brunt of the hate, not Brittany. “I did this. Zack explained, “I came up with it. We wanted to make [Brittany] feel special for a night when she is going through so much.”
Brittany’s “priority is Cruz every moment of every day. My priority is to make sure my best friend makes it through this tumultuous time in her life being fully supported and uplifted. That’s what this night was about.”
“So y’all can say what you want, but you know nothing about what is going on. So, please stop bringing Brittany into your hateful comments and direct them towards me. Thank you,” concluded Zack.
The Jax situation:
According to reports from People, “Brittany was supportive of Jax’s decision to seek help for their son’s sake. However, going forward, she’s not interested in having anything to do with him.”
A source spilled to the publication about filming for season 2 of The Valley. “At this time, the pair aren’t capable of being in the same room together or being in communication with one another.”
“Brittany has reached her limit and remains strong to do what is best for herself and her son. During this time, she’s received support from her family and friends.”
