Adios, Jill Zarin!
The RHONY alum who went viral for her racist commentary surrounding Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime performance has officially been fired from E!’s upcoming reboot The Golden Life — before production even began.
Variety broke the news on Feb. 10.
In a statement shared via E!, the show’s producers, Blink49 Studios, confirmed they’ve cut ties with Jill following the backlash:
“In light of recent public comments made by Jill Zarin, Blink49 Studios has decided not to move forward with her involvement in The Golden Life. We remain committed to delivering the series in line with our company standards and values.”
ICYMI: Jill posted a reel expressing disgust over the halftime show, then doubled down in her Instagram Stories — calling the performance “inappropriate,” questioning the lack of white people, and framing it as a “political statement.”
As if that weren’t enough, she also threw shade at Lady Gaga, pretending not to recognize her and joking that she “must have gotten a facelift.”
Several RHONY alums quickly distanced themselves from Jill’s perspective, including Bethenny Frankel and Sonja Morgan, both of whom publicly disagreed with her comments.
Personally? The punishment fits the crime.
Now Jill will have plenty of time to pick up a second language — and perhaps even a book.
