Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro named their first-ever winner, who earned a pro spot on the season 35 roster.

Congratulations to Adele Zaikman, who has officially earned a position in the DWTS pro dancer cast, as announced by judges Mark Ballas and Shirley Ballas, along with guest judge Derek Hough.
“I just feel like this is a celebration. All the sacrifices that I have made, it’s just a big *I made it* moment,” Adele expressed.
During the finale, Adele danced both a samba and a paso doble freestyle with former DWTS contestant Nev Schulman in front of a live audience. Mark commented, “Adele, so dynamic.”
The three-time Mirrorball winner continued, “Striking performances every dance that you have done on this stage” to Adele. “It’s been an honor to watch and to judge you.”
Adele defeated runner-up AJ Pritchard, who performed with season 31 winner Charli D’Amelio. Selena Hamilton, meanwhile, placed third after taking the stage with Adam Rippon.
Adele’s partner on season 35 of DWTS will be announced on the Wednesday, September 2, episode of GMA alongside the full cast of pros and celebrities. So far, Witney Carson has been confirmed to compete with Jimmy Kimmel Live personality Guillermo Rodriguez. Sharna Burgess is returning as a pro after years away. Her celebrity partner has yet to be announced.
