Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro finalist Selena Hamilton revealed that two of the top five contestants “separated” from the rest of the dancers when filming.
Selena, who is in the top three, was a guest on The Joe Vulpis Podcast and discussed the house dynamic.
“It was just like a separation in the house. Nina [Mayster], and AJ [Pritchard] were really, really close after the ‘WOW’ moments night. Then it was me, Adele [Zaikman], and Alan [Genkin], and we felt so separated.”
“We all really wanted to enjoy the experience together, and look back at the experience like, ‘I’m so happy I made these friends.
Selena added that “Alan was the one who started the conversation. ‘Guys. We’re separated. We have to fix this.’ Did it help? I don’t think so. We definitely had a conversation.”
AJ Pritchard has been in heat earlier this season. On the Stepping on Toes podcast, Val Chmerkovskiy called out The Next Pro for displaying an “arrogant” attitude and acting like an instructor toward his partner, Selena.
Zara Zoffany, AJ’s fiancée, made headlines when she criticized DWTS pro Rylee Arnold for giving notes about AJ, which was the task she was given on The Next Pro.
