Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville defended Jill Zarin after she was fired from E!’s recently announced show, The Golden Life.
The production company behind the new E! show featuring Real Housewives of New York legacy stars confirmed that Jill’s racist comments about Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl LX halftime show got her terminated.
Brandi is Team Jill:
The RHOBH alum began her post, “OK #1 I have a HUGE crush on BadBunny.”
“I wanna be his Mrs. Robinson💕the 1/2 show rocked.”
Alas, Brandi continued, “My friend Jill Zarin has her own opinion.”
“I don’t agree with it AT ALL but opinions aren’t wrong. They’re subjective.”
“I want to watch Jill on TV explain herself & hopefully learn something. Or we can just keep watching ‘yes people’ afraid to share.”
You’re fired!
E! said ADIOS to Jill Zarin after she stated there were no white people in the halftime show, and that it was ‘inappropriate’ that Bad Bunny performed in Spanish.
“In light of recent public comments made by Jill Zarin, Blink49 Studios has decided not to move forward with her involvement in The Golden Life. We remain committed to delivering the series in line with our company standards and values.”
Jill feels slighted:
“They didn’t even give me a chance,” Jill complained. “I took it down right away.”
“People make mistakes.” Jill concluded, “I’m human.”
Before Jill was fired, Jill commented on the backlash she received. “This is my OPINION only on my personal account, not fact. Ally (Jill’s daughter) says I’m getting canceled, which she says every time I post. Seriously, though. How many times can I be canceled?”
