Real Housewives of New York alum Jill Zarin lost her gig on E’s ‘The Golden Life‘ after making racist comments about Bad Bunny’s halftime show, only to complain she wasn’t given a chance to repent.
A statement was made announcing Jill’s termination. “In light of recent public comments made by Jill Zarin, Blink49 Studios has decided not to move forward with her involvement in ‘The Golden Life.’ We remain committed to delivering the series in line with our company standards and values.”
Jill’s grievance:
“They didn’t even give me a chance,” Jill told In Touch. “I took it down right away.”
“People make mistakes.” Jill concluded, “I’m human.”
A source (seemingly close to Jill) told the tabloid, “Everyone on the Internet is up in arms because they love Jill and were finally getting her back. E! made a snap decision without even taking into account that Jill took it down right away. Jill will be back. This won’t keep her down. People love her. That will never change.”
Jill doubled down on her statement before getting fired:
ICYMI, before her termination, Jill commented on the backlash she received.
“This is my OPINION only on my personal account, not fact. Ally (Jill’s daughter) says I’m getting canceled, which she says every time I post. Seriously, though. How many times can I be canceled?”
