Andy Cohen shared his thoughts on why Scandoval evolved into the media circus it became.
A reporter from TMZ caught up with the Watch What Happens Live host and asked why Tom Sandoval cheating on Ariana Madix with Raquel Leviss is such a big deal the scandal has even saturated the headlines of the New York Times, Rolling Stone, and People.
“People feel like they know them.”
Andy continued, “I think infidelity is something that a lot of people are interested in and maybe have a relationship with.”
The father of two thinks this hits hard because Raquel was a confidant. “I also think the idea that it happened with Ariana’s best friend makes it dramatic and shocking, but it’s real.”
Bravo TV‘s daddy noted, “This isn’t the first cheating scandal on Vanderpump Rules. It won’t be the last, but it’s certainly the biggest.”
“It’s resonated with the most amount of people.”
