Unwell Network founder Alex Cooper‘s Love Overboard was slammed for being canceled by Alix Earle while promoting her new show, Earle Meets World.
In a preview for Earle Meets World, Alix addressed Alex calling her a “crazy lunatic who hates her for no reason.” Alix revealed, “There’s a reason” for the animosity.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Alix was asked about commenting about Alex on her new Hulu show. “I’m happy I said my piece,” began Alix, “but I’m happier to focus on the premiere and having the show out there.”
Meanwhile, Alix – who placed second on season 34 of Dancing With the Stars – continued, “Hers are getting canceled.” Alix shrugged. “It is what it is.”
Alex’s Hulu dating show, Love Overboard, was canceled after just one season, with the news announced earlier this week.
ICYMI, Alex and Alix went from a celebrated business partnership in 2023 to a very public falling-out and social media feud by 2026. Alex, the founder of the Unwell, signed Alix Earle as one of the first major creators for her network. In September of 2023, Alix officially launched her podcast, Hot Mess, under Alex’s Unwell company.
Speculation arose when Alix skipped Unwell events in Florida and Las Vegas in 2025, and SiriusXM stopped selling ads for Hot Mess. Eventually, the Unwell Network dropped Alix’s podcast amid creative and business control clashes.
Season one of Earle Meets World will be available to stream on Netflix on Friday, September 4, 2026.
