More information is coming out about West Wilson’s reported departure from the franchise.
Allegedly, the Summer House star and the network made a “mutual decision” for him not to return for season 11.
A source exclusively tells Us Weekly that West went into the season 10 reunion already feeling like his time on the show was coming to an end.
And after the reunion, with little resolution and even fewer answers, his future with the cast was seemingly set in stone.

“It became even clearer that there wasn’t a long-term fit anymore,” the source said.
“He is at peace with the decision and is focusing on his podcast and other business ventures.”
Additionally, a second source claimed there was even more behind-the-scenes drama between West and his castmates that had nothing to do with his controversial romance with Amanda Batula.
According to the insider, West wasn’t asked back for season 11 because he allegedly “tried to get Kyle, Lindsay [Hubbard] and Carl [Radke] fired.”
“His goal was to be with Amanda and then just film with his friends,” the source claimed.
West allegedly told production that Lindsay shouldn’t film while pregnant or as a new mom because the show is about “singles and having fun in the summer.”
The insider added, “Amanda knew about that and Lindsay was pissed.”
When it came to Kyle and Carl, the source alleged West attempted to make the longtime friends look bad by telling producers the show “would be better with him and new friends.”
Outside of the alleged cast disputes, the insider claimed West “didn’t show his personal life on the show” and was dating other women that viewers knew nothing about, which reportedly also factored into his exit.
ICYMI:
Yesterday, Lindsay Hubbard went on a Threads tirade, blasting the sports journalist for allegedly using her daughter as clickbait to deflect from Amanda romance rumors.
She also called him out for encouraging viewers not to tune into the bonus Aftermath episode and accused him of “threatening” her job on Summer House.
