West Wilson opened up about the teased conversation between him and Summer House costar Kyle Cooke.
“I’m not going to say [we’re] good. Nothing’s, like, perfect right now, but we talked for like three hours on Wednesday,” West shared during the Monday, May 25, episode of the Show Me Something podcast.
West admitted his motivation to have the talk with Kyle wasn’t about trying to save his position on Summer House, but because he “cares about him” as a friend.
He also wasn’t insistent on the conversation being filmed, but said it was Kyle who pushed for cameras to roll since their lives have played out on TV.
“I’m glad we did,” West said.
“It was obviously awkward and weird to start, but I think we made a lot of progress. It was not a gunfight.”
The conversation was allegedly “very calm and peaceful.”
West continued:
“I really appreciate him doing that. One, just hearing me out, and two, being nice about it, and three, ending on that note will probably be better for me because it was a much better environment to talk about everything than the reunion was. When the reunion ends, odds are not great for me, so that opportunity, I really appreciate him for.”
ICYMI: Kyle first teased the upcoming conversation during his appearance on Watch What Happens Live following the series premiere of In The City.
It’s still unclear whether the footage will air on Summer House or In The City.
However, I have to imagine since West appeared in the In The City trailer, it would make more sense for the pickup footage to supplement that show.
