Production on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is currently on pause.
Deadline reports that filming for Season 7 was expected to begin this week.
However, following the tragic death of Mary Cosby’s son, Robert Jr., production has been postponed until further notice.
The full Season 6 cast — including Mary, Lisa Barlow, Heather Gay, Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose, Angie Katsanevas, and Bronwyn Newport — was reportedly set to return.
ICYMI: TMZ reported on Feb. 25 that Robert Jr. was found unresponsive Monday night in Utah.
An official cause of death has not been released, though a drug overdose is suspected.
Following the news, Mary and Robert Sr. shared a joint statement confirming that Robert Jr. had been “called home to the Lord.”
“Though our hearts ache, we take comfort in God’s promise and in knowing he is finally at peace. We are grateful for your prayers and trust in the Lord to carry us through this time of sorrow.”
