Real Housewives of New York Legacy star Ramona Singer gave pointers on “proper” interview etiquette … and it does not involve iced coffee.
Ramona, who stars on the upcoming E! show The Golden Life, discussed what was appropriate when looking for employment during an interview at the Virtual Reali-Tea Awards.
She was asked her opinion about applicants bringing an iced coffee into an interview. Ramona deemed it inappropriate. “I am old school and very proper,” she began. “I think when you have an interview with anyone, you don’t bring anything to the interview. You don’t bring a Coke, you don’t bring a soda, you don’t bring a hot coffee.”
“You go into the interview with just your resume, if that’s still proper. Or you send it ahead of time and you wait for your future hopeful employer.”
Ramona reiterated, “You don’t bring your own drink. No. That’s not good manners. Rude. Unprofessional. My opinion.”
In a June interview with Us Weekly, Ramona boasted about The Golden Life. “I’m so excited,” for a new show on a new network. “I like E! because it’s a different show. It’s not about women attacking women.”
The show follows the cast “enjoying the best part of our lives,” with Ramona as “the peacemaker.” She confirmed that viewers will see some of the women “crying over emotion.” She credits her move from the Big Apple to Florida for her newfound zen. “I feel like I’m a psychologist. It’s a very different role for me.”
