Without having seen an episode of Bravo TV‘s Real Housewives, Reese Witherspoon became a fan after meeting one of the franchise’s stars on a flight.
All roads lead to Bravo:
During a red carpet interview at the Emmy Awards, the A-list actress/producer was asked if she was a fan of the Real Housewives franchise.
Resse answered, “I’ve never watched it. I feel like I can’t catch up.”
“But,” she continued, “I did sit next to a Real Housewife on a flight recently.”
Although Reese wouldn’t drop the name of the housewife, she did tease a potential project. “We might have a Hello Sunshine project cooking now. I can’t say anything. It was cool – it was really cool!”

NAME ‘EM:
The Bravosphere was quick to drop names of potential ‘Wives that could have gotten in Reese’s ear. The most commonly named Bravolebrities included Sutton Stracke, Heather Dubrow, Kyle Richards, Garcelle Beauvais, and Bethenny Frankel.
After seeing the above interview, I did a little digging on Instagram. The only Real Housewife that Reese currently follows is Kyle Richards, FYI.
Reese isn’t the only A-Lister who’s taking an interest in Bravo TV:
It’s no secret that pop culture icon, Rihanna, is a Bravo babe. Now that the singer has two kids, she doesn’t always “get to watch a lot of TV, but” when she gets the time, “Housewives is always my priority.”
Academy Award winner, Jennifer Lawrence, was gooped and gagged for the season 4 finale of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Earlier this year, JLaw mentioned RHOSLC on a red carpet. “I just want to give a shout-out to the best finale I have ever seen on reality tv.”
The world stopped (for me at least) when I learned Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift ‘compare notes‘ on Vanderpump Rules. The Only Murders in the Building Actress added, “I’m on The Valley now. I’ve watched every episode of Vanderpump, so I don’t care if it’s bad!”
