Madison LeCroy is thanking Southern Charm fans and viewers for supporting her husband, Brett Randle, during his recent health scare.
During episode 2 of Southern Charm’s 10th season, Madison revealed that her husband had a bout with thyroid cancer.
The scene opens up with Madison, her son Hudson (from a previous relationship), and Brett making blueberry waffles. Wholesome AF, by the way.
“Unfortunately Brett was diagnosed with thyroid cancer toward the end of last year,” Madison begins during episode, Off the Peep End.
“Around our one year wedding anniversary I thought, ‘like how? I’m finally happy.’ It’s just scary.”
After Thursday night’s episode, Madison took to her Instagram account to thank everyone for their support.
An Update on Brett
“I just want to take a moment to thank everyone for checking on Brett. Your messages and kindness mean so much to us and have not gone unnoticed,” she begins to her over 800,000 instagram followers.
“It’s been a challenging year for our family, but we’re taking it one day at a time and doing our best to navigate through it. Brett is getting stronger every day, and we’re so grateful for all the love and support. We love y’all-thank you from the bottom of our hearts,” Madison concludes.
Brett’s cancer was removed — a 3 centimeter nodule.
Even though his cancer is now gone, Madison’s husband is still suffering complications.
Brett details the sensation of “a marble” being stuck in his throat. Of which he has grown used to.
“We’ll get you fixed,” Madison said during episode 2.
