Premise:
The show’s premise is that love is based on a deep connection with another person, not physical appearance. The show’s success rate for creating successful couples is higher than other dating-focused reality TV shows.
Contestants spend 10 days in small rooms called pods, where they can talk to each other through a speaker but not see each other. After the week of “dating,” couples can choose to get engaged. Engaged couples go to a resort for a week to get to know each other and meet the other couples. The engaged couples move into the same apartment complex in the city for the final three weeks. The couples plan their wedding to see if their physical connection matches their emotional bond.
