Jack Barlow said “fudge college” and hello, Colombia!
The eldest son of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Lisa Barlow is officially back home in Utah after completing his two-year LDS mission.
ICYMI: In the Mormon faith, young men (typically between 18–19 years old) often leave home for two years to serve full-time missions. These trips are focused on spreading the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, volunteering, and living simply.
As seen on RHOSLC, Lisa had a hard time when Jack made the decision to skip college and serve a mission instead.
Viewers watched her emotionally process the moment, including the backlash she faced from other cast members who questioned how involved she should have been in the decision.
But two years later? Lisa’s all smiles — and rightfully so!
Just two days ago, the Barlow family reunited as Jack returned home.
Lisa documented the special moment on Instagram, sharing heartfelt photos from the airport and even a glimpse of a sign held by one of Jack’s friends that read:
“Welcome Home Elder Baby Gorgeous.”
“It’s been the fastest and longest two years, like, all at the same time,” Lisa shared via Instagram Stories on the way to greet her son.
Jack’s return marks a major milestone not only for him but for the entire Barlow family.
Welcome home, Jack — and congratulations on completing your mission!
