Real Housewives of Orange County alum Kelly Dodd wondered how Gina Kirschenheiter has held onto her orange, yet Katie Ginella was fired after two seasons.
Kelly has questions for the casting department:
“Poor Katie got the bullet. They decided they didn’t want her anymore. Wow. We all knew that was happening. Someone who is dressed nicely, starts stuff, they’ll get rid of her.”
“But, they’ll sure as hell keep Gina, who is like watching paint dry, or water boil, or eating vanilla toast. Ok. Got it.”
“Bye, Katie. See you at mass.”
ICYMI:
“After two seasons as a cast member on RHOC, the network has decided to move forward with Season 20 without me,” Katie wrote. “While disappointing, it’s not entirely surprising after seeing how Season 19 played out.”
“I’m incredibly grateful for the love and support I received. It was seen, felt, and deeply appreciated.”
“Representation matters, and I’m proud to have shown up authentically, even when it wasn’t easy. This chapter may be closing, but my voice and my story don’t end here.”
Re: Gina …
After six and a half years of dating, Travis Mullen proposed during a ski vacation in Big Bear, California, on New Year’s Eve with a sparkling 6-carat, oval-cut diamond ring. (Yes, each carat represents one of their children.)
Many comments on social media think the proposal was timed to ensure Gina remains on the RHOC cast for its upcoming 20th season.
