On Friday, Jan 9, the two season wonder confirmed her departure from RHOC via Instagram.
“After two seasons as a cast member on RHOC, the network has decided to move forward with Season 20 without me,” Katie wrote.
“While disappointing, it’s not entirely surprising after seeing how Season 19 played out.”

ICYMI: Katie became persona non grata with the group after her closest ally, Jenn Pedranti, sided with Gretchen Rossi in a case of he-said-she-said.
Things only went downhill from there — especially after Katie failed nearly every question on the cast’s infamous polygraph test meant to clear up the season’s rumor mill.
Ultimately, she stopped filming with the group midseason.
While her castmates may have iced her out, viewers largely stayed on her side.
Katie closed out her statement by thanking fans for their support and standing firm in how she showed up.
“Representation matters, and I’m proud to have shown up authentically, even when it wasn’t easy. This chapter may be closing, but my voice and my story don’t end here.”
