RHOC’s Gina K. shared her and Travis Mullen‘s proposal video, which his 14-year-old daughter caught on film.
Gina captioned her post, “After 8 years on television, what I loved most about this moment was that there were no cameras around except for my stepdaughter hiding in the woods 😂.”
“I will cherish this unexpected, simple, beautiful moment forever. Thank you Travis, I love you. ❤️”

Congratulations to Real Housewives of Orange County‘s Gina Kirschenheiter and Travis Mullen on their engagement!
After six and a half years of dating, Travis proposed during a ski vacation in Big Bear, California, on New Year’s Eve with a sparkling 6-carat, oval-cut diamond ring. (Yes, each carat represents one of their children.)
The proposal:
“I was in complete shock,” Gina told PEOPLE. “My nervous system was trying to catch up to what just happened in this magical moment. I was also trying to process the iceberg that was being presented to me as well! I, of course, said ‘Yes,’ and melted into what was the sweetest kiss I’ve ever felt!”
The couple was dressed up for their family’s “Fancy Dinner Night” New Year’s Eve tradition with their six children. Gina was oblivious to his proposal plan when he suggested taking a family photo outside before dinner. Travis “is big on tradition and capturing thoughtful moments and core memories,” according to his fiancée. So it “didn’t strike [Gina] as weird” that he’d want to find a nice photo spot in nature or underneath their string lights.
When Travis “grabbed” Gina, she “knew something felt different immediately.” After he shared “a lot of beautiful romantic things” with his longtime love, Travis popped the question. He revealed that all six of their children were in on the surprise, with Presley even hiding in the trees to record the special moment.
Gina added, “The three of us hugged all teary-eyed and happy, and then walked back into the house where all the other kids were waiting and began to sound off their New Year’s Eve horns and launch off confetti poppers! It was perfect! It meant so much to be there as a family celebrating all together. We were all so happy. Truly a pinnacle moment.”
