Real Housewives of New York alum Jill Zarin deleted a video slamming an employee at a Chef Alain Ducasse establishment in Tokyo because she couldn’t get the ice cream cone she wanted.
The former RHONY star ranted about the staffer not letting her mix and match the ice cream and cone combination she wanted. For the record, it’s not uncommon for world-renowned chefs to not allow substitutions or modifications.
Instagram’s Mr. Housewives captured a video of Jill’s post before she deleted it.
“Ok. I finally have something to complain about,” began Jill. “I’m in a department store at a little Alain Ducasse thing.”
Jill wanted the chocolate ice cream in the butter biscuit cone. (which she called vanilla), and the butter biscuit ice cream in the chocolate cone. Neither is offered on the menu designed by the 21-Michelin-star chef. “She said no,” a disgusted Jill snarled at her camera. “I said, ‘Why not?'” to the employee. “No reason. Just because.”
“Maybe this is a Japan thing. Maybe this is an Alain Ducasse thing,” continued Jill. “We are going to tag you, Alain, and I would like to have an answer please [as to] why the people who work for you can’t accommodate me.”
Jill *read* the sign. “Served in a cone or a cup of your choice.”
In reality, the sign says, “Served in a cone or a cup, your choice.” (Punctuation matters!)
Alas, Jill continued. “My choice is to have the chocolate in the vanilla cone. So there,” ended the 62-year-old’s tantrum.
This isn’t the first time ‘Karen Zarin’ has made herself appear ignorant on the internet this year.
ICYMI, Jill went viral for her racist commentary surrounding Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime performance. Then, she doubled down in her Instagram Stories. She called the performance “inappropriate,” questioning the lack of white people.
She was quickly fired from E!’s upcoming series, The Golden Life, before production even began.
