Real Housewives of Beverly Hills favorite Jennifer Tilly doesn’t understand why new cast members – like Amanda Frances and Bozoma Saint John – don’t do their homework before signing a contract to be on reality TV.
Jennifer Tilly is built differently:
The Bride of Chucky actress started with RHOBH’s newest cast member, Amanda. “It’s not like she came on to the show saying I’m going to irritate everybody on the show. She’s a very decent person, but it is difficult.”
“I’m in showbiz, I’m a professional actress, I’ve been friends with Sutton.” Jennifer continued, “I know these ladies, I read, I did so much research.”
“I laughed when people – Amanda – said, ‘I never really watched the show. I think I watched two episodes.'” And Amanda wasn’t the only one to not do her homework. “Boz never watched the show either.”
“I feel it’s like Meghan Markle saying she never Googled Prince Harry.”
“It’s like, ‘You’re going to be on the show!’ Maybe you should watch some episodes to see what you’re getting into.”
“Why would you say, ‘Yes, I’ll be on the show if you haven’t seen it? If you don’t know what it is?'”
Never forget, JT is an Academy Award-nominated actress:
A seasoned professional, Jennifer continued, “I read Brian Moylan’s book, The Real Story Behind the Real Housewives. I read It’s Not All Diamonds and Rosé.” She added, “I read all these books about reality television, but nothing prepares you for the reality of it … Trauma bonding!”
“There is a very small group of women who have been housewives franchise, and an even smaller group that have been on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
“It’s an astonishing thing. It’s really the most strange, surreal experience.”
