Jen Shah sent her husband, Sharrieff Shah, Valentine’s Day (and belated birthday) wishes from the federal prison.
The controversial Real Housewives of Salt Lake City personality penned a message from the penitentiary to her life partner.
Pen Pal:
“Happy Valentine’s Day and happiest birthday to my amazing husband,” began Jen.
“Even from miles away, my love and gratitude for you are stronger than ever,” she continued. “Thank you for sticking by my side and never letting go of my hand. I love you, Jen ❤️.”
Sharrieff’s birthday was on January 29th. It doesn’t appear Sharrieff has Instagram, so this post was seemingly for appearances.
Jen, I’m guessing, has limited access to her phone from Bryan Federal Prison Camp.
Jailbird Jen’s sentence keeps getting reduced:
For the third time, Jen has been rewarded with a shortened sentencing. Last month, Deadline tapped into the Federal Bureau of Prisons inmates database and learned Jen Shah is set to be released on November 3, 2026.
She was arrested in March 2021 for her role in a telemarketing fraud scheme. Jen surrendered herself on February 17, 2023. Her original sentencing was for 6.5 years behind bars.
Jen confessed to committing “wire fraud [and] offering services with little to no value,” when under oath with Judge Stein in July 2022. “We used interstate telephones and emails. I knew many of the purchasers were over the age of 55.”
Never forget:
Jen claimed she was not guilty for many many months. She only changed her plea after her ‘first assistant,’ Stuart Smith, confessed his guilt. People Magazine reported StuChainz‘s admission.
“I knowingly and intentionally discussed and engaged with other individuals to develop a plan or operation to obtain money by false representation by offering and inducing individuals, many of whom were over 50 years of age or older, to provide money to entities that I and others were involved with.”
