The Valley‘s Janet Caperna is spilling the tea about where things stand with Scheana Shay, her alleged shrinking circle of friends, and her employment on Bravo TV.
During an appearance on Jeff Lewis Live, Janet said “I don’t think [Scheana and her husband Brock Davies] are contracted anywhere,” when asked if they were joining The Valley‘s cast.
Janet opened up about her falling-out with Scheana, revealing that they haven’t spoken in months. Janet also suggested that Scheana is no longer particularly close with many of her former castmates.
“We were very close for very many years. I will always wish her well. I love her and her family, but we’re not speaking right now.”
Apparently, the Capernas haven’t spoken to Scheana or Brock in “a couple [of] months.” She confirmed that Lala Kent isn’t speaking to Scheana either. “Not many people are,” Janet added. “I think of most of her castmates, she’s only in contact with one or two. After years and years on a show.”
Things went south with Scheana when she became upset over a conversation Janet had with Brittany Cartwright involving Brock’s past infidelity.
According to Janet, Scheana had been discussing a chapter in her upcoming book about Brock cheating on her while she was pregnant. Scheana was nervous about the chapter and the accompanying press coverage. During a gathering at Scheana’s house, Brittany overheard references to the chapter and asked Janet what it was about.
Janet admitted that she told Brittany about Brock’s infidelity but insisted she wasn’t intentionally spilling Scheana’s secrets. For the record, Brittany never leaked the information, and everything ultimately came out the way Scheana wanted.
Janet said she apologized profusely, but Scheana subsequently struggled to trust her. “After that, it just got nasty,” Janet concluded.
