Real Housewives of Potomac star Ashley Darby is spilling tea about an explosive moment with her former co-star Candiace Dillard Bassett that viewers didn’t see.
During an interview with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea, Ashley revealed that her heated confrontation with Candiace was cut from Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th.
“She and I really got to scrapping,” Ashley confessed. “It got really heated when we filmed ‘Girls Trip’ in Atlanta.”
Ashley explained that the disagreement stemmed from unresolved issues between the former RHOP castmates. Although Candiace left the show after Season 8, their checkered history followed them to the Girls Trip set. “It was just like old times, basically,” Ashley mused.
She said she was “jumping around” and “clapping” during the tense exchange with Candiace. With that said, Ashley shared that her situation with Candiace ended on a surprisingly friendly note.
After their argument, Candiace showed Ashley photos of her two-year-old son, Jett, and the two started chatting like everything was normal. “We have these moments like sisters … but then there’s like a little fiber of like, ‘But girl, how [are] you really doing?'” Ashley explained.
Despite their history, Ashley admitted that she misses Candiace “sometimes.”
The Real Housewives of Potomac airs Sunday nights on Bravo, with new episodes available to stream the next day on Peacock. Join our live discussions!
