Milania Giudice’s best friend, Victoria Zardoya, had multiple substances in her system at the time of her fatal fall in July, according to newly released toxicology results obtained by TMZ.
The 20-year-old tested positive for ketamine, a dissociative anesthetic with hallucinogenic effects, as well as norketamine, a substance produced when the body breaks down ketamine. The findings were detailed in a medical examiner’s report.
Victoria’s toxicology report also revealed the presence of alcohol and etomidate, a medication commonly used for general anesthesia.
Her death was ruled accidental, with the official cause listed as craniocerebral trauma. She suffered skull fractures and bleeding around her brain as a result of the devastating fall.
On July 24, Zardoya fell down a multi-level flight of stairs while exploring the Fort Dade ruins on Egmont Key near Tampa Bay, Florida.
She was airlifted to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Tragically, the 20-year-old succumbed to her injuries three days later.
Teresa Giudice from Real Housewives of New Jersey took to her Instagram Stories to ask for compassion for her daughter. She said Milania has been going through an extremely difficult time following the loss of her best friend.
