Heather Dubrow And Emily Simpson On Alexis Bellino And John Janssen ‘Blackmailing’ Shannon Beador

Heather Dubrow and Emily Simpson didn’t hold back their opinions about Alexis Bellino and John Janssen intentionally humiliating Shannon Beador … even going so far as to “blackmail” her.

On an episode of the Real Housewives of Orange County After Show, the ladies detailed their reaction to Shannon’s DUI and the aftermath.

Reactions to Shannon’s arrest:

Heather began, “When I first heard about Shannon’s DUI, I was horrified, upset, all the things. [I was] glad she was ok. Glad no one else was hurt and worried about her.”

Emily couldn’t help but think about her Shannon treated Gina Kirschenheiter after her DUI years ago. “I hate saying this because I don’t want to be mean, but I felt like there was a bit of karma there. When you’re constantly harassing someone else and making fun of someone else, and digging at someone else and then it comes back …”

However, Emily “Felt badly” for Shannon. “I don’t want wish ill will on anyone [or] wish anyone to have to go through something like that. And, to have to do it publicly, and to be humiliated.” Emily continued, Shannon has to “talk about it with friends, her daughters, and admit she’s embarrassed and humiliated. That’s a very humbling experience. I felt like it was a lot to deal with.”

“Then, to get sued while we are filming and to have to deal with a lawsuit. There’s the videos …”

The Ring videos of Shannon obtained just before her DUI:

Heather explained, “I heard about the videos much later than everyone else had heard about the videos. I just feel like at some point, it’s too dark.”

“The first time I heard about the videos, I heard about them from Katie,” detailed Emily. “She told me there was a conversation about Alexis and John that had something to do with a lawsuit. Shannon didn’t immediately settle the lawsuit. From “my understanding, there was a conversation like, ‘The gloves are coming off. We are going to release those videos.'”

The lawyer gave her professional commentary. “To me, it sounded very threatening. It sounded very extortion-like; it sounded very blackmail-ish. I did not like that. When you don’t get the outcome that you’re seeking immediately, that your first resort is to humiliate someone. I thought that was very disgusting.”

Heather agreed, “It’s too dark. I don’t know why there’s videos; I don’t know why Shannon needs to know there’s videos. It’s a lot.”

Do agree with Emily and Heather that dangling the videos of Shannon feels “dark” and like “blackmail?” Sound off below.
