Carl is the first Summer House star to be seen filming since news broke of Amanda Batula and West Wilson‘s relationship behind Ciara Miller and Kyle Cooke‘s back.

The show must go on?
While ambiguous, Carl’s post proves he is definitely filming. Fan fodder leads to some reasonable theories.
Of course, cameras could have picked up for Summer House – Scandoval style – to add onto the wrapped season. ICYMI, TMZ and Deadline reported cameras weren’t going back up late last month, but crazier things have happened.
On the other hand, Carl could be filming for In The City, the Summer House spinoff starring Kyle, Amanda, and Lindsay Hubbard. While Carl wasn’t announced as a series lead, he could join the cast as a ‘friend of’ or be added to the cast roster post-Scamanda.
Fans also pontificated whether Carl is teasing an all-new project in his IG story.
Could a Soft Bar spinoff be in Carl’s future?
Soft Bar + Cafe is a non-alcoholic bar and café founded by Carl in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
Opened in September 2025, the venue focuses on “mindful consumption,” offering an elevated “third space” for people to socialize without the presence of alcohol.
The menu features premium coffee, alternative lattes, and zero-proof versions of classics like espresso martinis and Aperol spritzes. Carl’s cafe operates as a cafe from 8:00 AM (serving local pastries) and transitions into a bar atmosphere in the evening.
