Love After Lockup star Amber Eggers has died at age 41 after being hospitalized in Georgia.
According to TMZ, Amber’s mother, Monica Eggers, said her daughter died Thursday night at an Atlanta hospital after being admitted several days earlier because she wasn’t feeling well. Monica said doctors were unable to keep Amber’s heart beating, and she ultimately died from acute liver failure.
Amber appeared on Season 2 of WEtv’s popular reality series Love After Lockup, which aired in 2019. At the time, she was dating Vincent Gonzalez while she was incarcerated. The pair became engaged, but their relationship ended after Amber was released from prison.
Amber also remained connected to the Love After Lockup franchise after her season. She and her former cellmate, Michelle “Puppy” Deaton, made appearances on subsequent seasons and the spinoff Life After Lockup.
