Multiple sources claim Todd and Julie Chrisley are ask for an “astronomical sum” of money for their return to reality tv.
Producers told The Daily Mail the recently pardoned couple is shopping for a seven-figure contract.
Will networks take the risk of bringing the controversial Chrisleys back?
“We would love to work with them, but their price tag is way too high,” explained a reality television producer. “And it’s not entirely clear if they’ll be worth the money. Will people want to watch them?”
A second producer shared Todd and Julie want a minimum of $5 million to do a new show. “That’s where the conversation starts,” they clarified. “But they’re hoping for a bidding war to take the price much higher.”
This insider explained “everyone has to decide” what a show about the Chrisley family “will look like” now that they’ve been pardoned from their federal prison sentences.
“What will the angle be?” they asked rhetorically. “That’s important in deciding what the cost should be.”
Keep in mind …
Savannah Chrisley revealed the plan for her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, since they were released from prison via presidential pardon. “Obviously, we’ve been filming. We had just wrapped filming for all intents and purposes.”
“Then, we got the call that they have been pardoned. So, we picked [cameras] right back up” for the extension of the Chrisley project.
“We’re excited because I think this new show is going to give people a look into the trial and things we went through. We are going to set the record straight. It comes full circle because we go back, then we get into the part where mom and dad are pardoned.”
