Bravo TV personality Taylor Armstrong explained how Shannon Beador both “ghosted” her and is an “energy vampire.” All I know is I am suddenly very eager for Halloween.
During an appearance on The Naked Truth, Taylor detailed how Shannon dropped her “like a hot potato” once she wasn’t needed anymore. “I haven’t heard from her for quite some time and I have been really hurt over it.”
Ghosted:
Taylor explained that when she finally saw the Real Housewives of Orange County star, Shannon acted like no time passed between the two. “She was going through a really dark time in a rollercoaster relationship. I was her go-to call … Morning, noon, [and] night.” Taylor acknowledges how she is all too familiar with the dark time, Shannon was having, so she wanted to be there for her.
However, “When [Shannon’s] life changed and suddenly everything was different for her and she didn’t need me any longer … crickets. It’s so hurtful to me.” Taylor even claimed that another one of the RHOC ladies predicted this from the start. “That’s impossible,” thought Taylor. She couldn’t comprehend how a person could go from being on the phone with a friend multiple times a day to having no contact.
Energy Vampire:
Taylor talked to another friend about Shannon ghosting her, and her friend referred to Shannon as an “Energy Vampire.” While Taylor was unfamiliar with the phrase, she looked up the definition and thinks it “makes sense.”
“I don’t think I felt that used in a friendship since I was in high school. I didn’t think grown women would turn [their] back on a friend like that.” It seemed like Shannon was “so wrapped up in her own world that she was unaware that I completely disappeared.”
