Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Dolores Catania and Paulie Connell gave an update on their relationship as his divorce is allegedly around the corner.
During an appearance on Jeff Lewis Live, Paulie shared big news regarding his long, drawn out divorce.
Status update:
Paulie told the former Flipping Out star, “My date is set for my divorce to be finalized, which is next week.” Jeff was unsure if he should offer “congratulations” to the soon-to-be divorcee.
Dolores gave him permission to be honest. “A lot of people gave me a lot and him a lot about [the fact that Paulie is still married]. He was just, whatever. I don’t care what people say, Jeff, to tell you the truth.”
It’s no secret Paulie was still legally married when he started dating Dolo in 2021. He has also spoken openly about his amicable split from his wife Joanne. The two separated well over a decade ago and Joanne filed for divorce on February 4, 2020, after 16 years of marriage.
Paulie plans to pop the question to Dolo:
Connell has said he does plan to pop the question to Catania. In a December 2024 interview with In Touch, he shared, “I have the ring.”
“I’ve always had the [ring]. I had the stone, I bought the stone a long time ago with her. I knew what she liked.”
“It’s going to be a surprise,” he added of his future proposal to the “Real Housewives” star. “She’s going to never expect it. Whenever it happens, I’m going to throw her so off the scent that whenever it happens, she’s going to be like. ‘You mother f*cker.’”
This would be a great storyline for season 15 of RHONJ …
According to reports yesterday, Bravo TV has kept Melissa Gorga, Dolores Catania, and Teresa Giudice “engaged” with the network.
“As far as where the women will wind up at this point, it’s looking likely RHONJ will be led by Melissa and Dolores. Teresa will be given a spin-off.”
