Former Real Housewives of Orange County star Lydia McLaughlin‘s mother, Judy Stirling, has passed away. The cause of death has yet to be announced.
Lydia’s family update:
Bravo TV fans met the mother/daughter duo on the 8th season of RHOC. Judy was a colorful character who was especially memorable for her love of all things glitter. Lydia (and Judy) left after one season, but they returned for 12.
Lydia shared her family’s sad news on Instagram. “My mom passed away last night. 🤍 We are heartbroken but we know she’s dancing with Jesus.”
“Fairy dust, confetti bombs and crowns like heaven has never seen before 👑,” continued Lydia. “What’s in the cat is in the kitten and I promise to continue to make you proud.”

Alexis Bellino, who lost her mom just ahead of filming the 18th season, can empathize. “Lydia, I’m so sorry for your loss. I know your pain right now. I loved EVERY SINGLE THING about your mom. I’m only a phone call away. Love you sweetie. ❤️❤️💔🙏
